Screen Name, User Name.....whatever

Still haven't registered at Nintendo.com yet after I got my Lite - main reason being that I can't figure out a good screen/user name to use. Since I intended to use the same user name for both my DSL and Wii, it requires some more thought.

I guess I can use the correct spelling of my current internet nick (Uarzen > Urazen); but i think i'll still be a bit difficult to pronounce. Even I sometimes have trouble pronouncing it (normally i just use the Japanese kana sound instead). By the way, in case anyone wonders who the hell is Urazen - you can find the answer in a Japanese comic called Five Stars Stories. Urazen is Mirage Knight, Orange Left #12. Along this line, the character I think might die soon (it already survived one massacre). When that happen, I'll probably switch everything...

So where was I...oh right, nick name for Nintendo.com. Another option I have right now is my icq screen name, La Croix De Sang (The Cross of Blood in English - also from the fabulous comic Five Star Stories. It's the symbol of the F.E.M.C). However, I don't know how much better that is.

It really is tough finding the right nick to use. :P

Current Status: Offline

My computer at home is dead - the hard-drive is making funny noise when I try to boot up the computer, can't even get to anything. So goodbye eMachine, together with my 30G of MP3s, 15G of videos and tons of pictures that I took over the past two years... *Sigh*

Probably won't get one soon - deadline's coming up so I think I might have to work late for the next couple weeks. I'll probably just go online at work. So in case you need to contact me, e-mail/phone is the best bet.

Now the next question is what should I get as the replacement? I had my eyes on getting a Dell earlier, just because there was this 40% off coupon and I could get a pretty large LCD with it. Or should I get a MacBook? Decision, decision...

The wait is finally over - and I now welcome the newest member in my electronics family - the Nintendo DS Lite - Not to be confused with the DS Thick/DS Phat (I picked up this funny name on the internet somewhere...kakaka). It's a semi-surprised birthday gift from my brother, but nonetheless a pleasant surprise because I can now diverge all my DS fund into DS Game fund. Hohohohoho~

Another surprise was that I got the console on Friday afternoon (took a break to go back home to check the UPS delivery), which is 2 days ahead of the official release date (Jun 11th). Though Nintendo probably wouldn't be very happy about Buy.com's speedy delivery, I can't really complaint. One guy in Target even asked me whether I imported the unit or not.

The games I bought so far are: New Super Mario Brothers, Bomberman (it's only 14.99 at Best Buy - can't pass it up) and Magnetica. Hopefully these will last me till the several RPGs that will be coming out later this year (Final Fantasy III, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Child of Mana. FF's Crystal Chronicles franchise should also have a game coming out for the DS as well, but i don't remember seeing a release date announced at E3). King Snort bought Brain Age - the hottest game in town. The game definitely looked interesting, and it's not too expensive either. I might pick it up, or it sequel (Big Brain Academy) later.

Several other friends from work already tried out the DS Lite - I'll see if I can get them to get the own....***evil grin*** And of course, I wouldn't say no if Nintendo offers to pay me commission.....Muahahahaha...

Another Week

I tried it out at Wal-Mart yesterday. They have already replaced the DS demo unit with the new DS Lite, but no one seems to notice. It's pretty sweet and sexy looking - way better than the bulky DS. Though I haven't quite figure out what game(s) to get together with the DS Lite yet. If only FF III, Fire Emblem or Zelda is available, that will be the dream match. Unfortunately neither of them is out yet.

At this point, I will probably get the New Super Mario Bros. Probably need to import a few games as well - Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (There will be a US adaptation but i think JPop suits me better) and Puzzle Bobble (the Bust-a-Move that's available in the US has a different game play that I don't know if I will like or not - how sad). *** Looks like I need to mobilize some of my network in HK... Hohoho...

Do not try searching other people's blog half-an-hour before you planned to go to bed...Bad idea...

On the flip side, I added another 8 blogs tonight to my People @ XXXX group in my FireFox bookmark (you all know where I work - just in case there are others out there as crazy as I am and do a Blogger search (19 pages)...hahaha). A whopping 62% increase, that should qualify me for the company cyber-stalker - Muahahahaha...

Many of those that I added are new hires starting tomorrow - one even mentioned his salary. (Um...now I have something to base on when I talk about my salary situation with my new TL next year). I was somewhat tempted to leave them a comment/message to see if I can freak them out.

Speaking of TL - Konphused and King Snort both are now TLs, Congratulations!

I thought I have more things to say, but nothing is coming up now. Oh well, at least I updated my blog at a more frequent interval than somebody.
