Hopefully. This is one of my new year resolution i think - that is, to take more pictures of things around me. I still remembered back in Purdue, one of us always had a digital camera. Tons of pictures were taken during those days. I surely missed that!

So this year, I vow to take my DC with me more often. =)

林一峰: 一個人在途上

聽完林一峰遊樂會之後，立刻從 M:\ 內找回了『一個人在途上』這一隻 CD 的 mp3。結果整晚就伏在書桌上聽著一峰的歌，洗滌了自己的心靈。作曲，填詞，主唱－林一峰一手包辦，現今所謂的樂壇，仲有邊位歌星有這才華? 可惜的是無機會親身去一峰的音樂會，冇辦法感受到 live 的氣氛同感覺~ (聽聞濱唱會的 cd 其實做得不是太好~ ding!) 下次，下次有機會的話......

已經很久沒有衝動去買 CD，亦已忘記了上一張買的 CD 是哪個歌星的。估唔到一星期之內，竟然會有兩張 CD 會另激起我的購買慾。

This is the day where...I paid off my car

Though technically it should be yesterday. Oh well~ What a relief - 4 long years! Has it already been four years already? Sure doesn't feel like it.

Now I am waiting for my car's title! Hohoho~

Another development cycle done

Finally!!! Technically the development deadline is some time in November, but there were still tons and tons of stuff to do after that. Setting up the QA servers, making sure the new files get there into the build, fixes, more fixes, and yet more fixes... Not to mention on top of that they decided to do the BOT testing.

So when the last file was done, it was such a big relief. I never imagine a development cycle can be so exhausting. So many things happened and we looked like we are always in a crunch. All things are history now - until my Jan 10 deadline that is.

Looking back, this is my 3rd cycle since I started working here. There are definitely highs and lows but I think I am enjoying it. When people start talking about some of the stuff, now I know what they are talking about. During the first half of the year, I would be totally clueless.

Page Layout

Some other blogs have very cool & interesting designs. Every time I come across one of these nice blogs, I always have the urge to redesign mine. This little blog can definitely use a face-lift. Then I suddenly realize - Each day I spent eight to ten twelve hours already on writing ASP codes, VB codes, HTML codes, CSS code... do I need to do more of these at home? Some day, I wish I can just talk to the computer and describe what I would to see and it actually generates all the necessary codes "behind the scene" without me touching a single key on the keyboard or the mouse. Wouldn't that be nice.

Until then, let me just keep this blog as is for the moment. Ha!

冰天雪地 Wisconsin

Actually 只係冰天 only，因為到現時為止都冇乜點落過雪?。就係因為咁，所以只係齋凍。每個星期梗係有幾日係凍醒?。雖然明知 Wisconsin 係會凍，但唔係凍成咁呀!?!? 下個月張電費單簡直係不敢想像?

話說回來，公司今個星期五每人派了 $100 for X'mas。 貪心的我已經 look forward 緊個 bonus。希望唔會係流料啦! 哈哈哈哈~

慘被遺棄的 Weblog

估唔到上一個 Blog 已經係十月。唔係話特登唔理佢，只係估唔到公司野簡直係一浪接一浪咁黎。十一月頭先趕完個 development deadline，之後又要 fix QA issues 同幫手做 QA (btw，永遠只係 developers 幫手做 QA，永冇話掉轉頭 QA 幫?我地喎 .\ /.) 。好喇，今個月頭 QA Complete 咁諗住可以讀? certification ?番幾百蚊過 X'mas 啦，失驚無神又俾人拉去做 Performance Testing。再係咁玩法好容易玩出人命? XDDDDD
